Our Promise

The Nordelph Village Hall continues to grow because of passionate people, like you, who are supporting us every day by giving your time volunteering at events, booking our hall, or simply coming along and joining in on our events these all keep our village hall open and available for our villagers and local area.

We are fully committed to ensuring that we are always legal, open, honest and respectful in how we treat you and your donations.

This is our promise to you:

  • Fundraising is incredibly important to the village hall, without it, it wouldn’t exist, and therefore is something that we take very seriously. That’s why we promise to always adhere to the Code of Fundraising Practice for charities.
  • We always check our own fundraising practices, as well as any third parties who use the hall that contribute to our funds and ensure that they comply with the same standards we do.
  • Your donations will always be used responsibly, so that we can continue to maintain the village hall so that it can be enjoyed for years to come.
  • We promise to keep our own administration and maintenance costs to a minimum so that as much of your donation as possible is spent directly on the village hall.
  • We will always where possible use local traders and businesses to maintain the hall so we give back to the local community.
  • Your privacy, rights, and personal information is of upmost importance to us, we do sometimes keep your personal data in order for us to process your donations and to satisfy our financial audit requirements, in these circumstance we will always adhere to the laws around privacy and the handling of personal data, for more information on how we handle this can be found in our privacy policy.
